The Institute for Hypermedia Exchange is a research-orientated organisation focussed on questioning how, in an age of the screen, images are used and received, analysing conclusions through writing and generated response outcomes.

'Data to Describe Data' is the first research paper to be published by the group and acts as an initial investigation into themes that will form the basis for project to be completed in the near future, using metadata's essential themes of referentiality and allusion as a conceptual foundation

IHME is an open organisation and emphasises the possibility of collaboration and commissions in realising work.

This publication was a collaboration between myself and Charlie Abbott (charlie.abbott@hotmail.com). The book has been printed using by Hato Press, and also includes an offset wrap-around print of Lenna.
